SKYWARN Nets
The NI4CE Repeater Network has supported the National Weather Service’s SKYWARN severe weather spotter program since it went on the air in 2001. NI4CE has provided major communications support to large-scale severe weather events beginning with Tropical Storm Gabrielle, during Hurricanes Charley, Francis, Ivan, and Jeanne in 2004 and, again, during the record-setting 2005 Hurricane Season.
