NI4CE regional linked repeater system

SKYWARN® Nets

The NI4CE Repeater Network has supported the National Weather Service’s SKYWARN® severe weather spotter program since it went on the air in 2001. NI4CE has provided major communications support to large-scale severe weather events beginning with Tropical Storm Gabrielle, during Hurricanes Charley, Francis, Ivan, and Jeanne in 2004 and, again, during the record-setting 2005 Hurricane Season.
